I just purchased a few things from The Ordinary (regulars I use) and wish I had known about the rose hip oil. I love trying new oils as they’re my favorite way to moisturize. This was a fun wrap-up as always! 🩷🩷🩷
Oh I’d love to know how you get on with The Ordinary bits, and if there were any standouts! I wasn’t aware that there was a rose hip oil in the first place, let alone the new, fermented one so I feel like it might be ones of those well kept secrets! And me, too—love a facial oil, especially at night. I think we may to revisit those for a a deep-dive at the MBE in the depths of winter! Thank you so much. 💗❄️✨
Oooh you KNOW I am getting onto the NYR oil now, brilliant to know about (and re: the ethical sourcing). Thank you so much for shouting out 🙌 - and yes to the Gucci trick! My lips are so dry, and it’s meant even slightly matte lipsticks (even hers 😕) are a no-go for me now, but I’m hoping this might be the game-changer! Thanks so much for sharing, Camilla. Have a fab new week! 🥰
This lovely comment is my Monday morning dopamine hit haha! - you are SO kind, as that’s always how I hope the MBE will land! Happy new week, sending hugs and hope you’re keeping warm in NYC! 💗xxxoooo
That would be SO wonderful to see you in London!! (My daughter is heading to NYC next year, and I’m green—haven’t been since, erm, don’t make me count the years!! 😭) I really hope the SPF is good still, too! (And that you like it! I’m wearing mine on the daily here!). XX
🥺😂 firstly, Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you don’t see this until next week! And that’s so kind and so funny – I just wish she could put me in her suitcase ha ha! Really hope to get over again before too long! 🗽❤️🥰
I am loving the sound of that body melt, Jenni. I use a brilliant body oil by Desavery but always on the look out for more budget friendly options. I have to be careful what I use these days as I shed skin cells on a snake level! Anything too fragranced makes it worse. The less ingredients the better and the purer the ingredients are the better which usually means expensive!
The body melt is gorgeous!! Incredible texture, SUPER-intensive but only melts on contact with the skin, so even easier to apply but I LOVE a body oil, too (and thanks for mentioning yours, I’ll definitely look it up- is it unfragranced? So, the Soapsmith is fragranced with essential oils, and the scents are amazing, but also, as you say, a considered purchase and not a budget splash out (£20 or so for the small-ish pots when I checked, but yes, indie business and quality of ingredients, and a little does a LONG way with the melts). XX
I have a rosehip oil from Pai that I love, so I'm interested to try The Ordinary's offerings - and will be pointing the London fam towards bringing some Soapsmith products out in their suitcases!
Loved Michelle Yeoh looking fabulous, and Camille Miceli - Pucci is so incredible!
Oh, I’m going to have to look into the Pai oil now! I’m going to fully report back on both of the ordinary rose hip oil versions, and the Soapsmith has been such a lovely discovery! I think you would adore the body melts. And I know, Michelle and Camille! Thank you so much for reading, sharing and the Pai rec, Louise! 🙌🩷

Michelle Yeoh looks incredible! So many amazing midlife women looking better than ever!!!
Doesn’t she?! (Watch this space for top-to-toe glow getter highlighters for the face and body! They’re coming!). ✨ 💗
Neals Yard have a new rosehip too which is ethically sourced from Serbia…I’m wondering if The Ordinary’s is? Hmmm! But I love their products too!
That lip balm/washcloth trick has been a lifesaver since I saw Gucci recommend! ♥️

Loved the lights in London this week. As usual, New Bond Street was fully decked out for the season. So cute was the Ralph Lauren bear window.
Ooh I missed that, will have to check it out!! 🧸🎄
Oooh! I didn’t know Lanolips makes SPF lip balm *buying now*
Grrrrr it’s not available in the US. We can’t have nice things can we?!
😩! I’ll trade you for Olive & June!! 💅 WISH we had there here (wait, can we have both?!)
One day I’ll come visit and bring some. I found a site that sells it so hope the SPF isn’t expired

So exciting? We’d take your daughter around if she wants to hang with the elders lol (but DM us!) and I’m very excited for my lip balms to arrive!
