Hi Jen! Sorry I've been MIA on socials and here lately - lots going on. I am so so sorry to hear about your lovely dad! How is he now? I hope that things are better - I'm sure it's been so stressful for you all and hope you're feeling ok.

Now...Julia R's hairstyle! I am taking that pic in with me to the hairdresser on my next appointment - it looks gorgeous on her and the lighter shade suits her really well too...actually, what doesn't look fab on Julia anyway? Love you round up as usual and big hugs to you and your family xxx

Firstly, hope all OK your end, Lisa - sending 💗! Thank you so much for your kind words about my dear dad - he's stable, but still in hospital at the moment. And, onto the light stuff, the Julia pic - let me know if you show your stylist and go for something similar! I love the golden colour, too. Big 🤗 right back, to you and all of yours! XOXO

Yay - I hope you're as impressed as I am. I think they've done a really good edit this year, and always good for trying new formulas/brands. Let me know what you think (after Christmas!) 🎄XO

So sorry to hear your father hasn't been well, Jenni - that's so stressful and upsetting. I'm always so tempted by beauty advent calendars, but realistically wouldn't use half of it, sadly - I think I need one that is all bath products!

Firstly, thank you so much, Louise. 💗 Secondly, OH WOW, how amazing would a bath-devoted Advent Calendar be?!! Perfect for the festive season and recovery. (And totally agree, zero point getting a calendar with bits you wouldn't usually use!) I actually think that a BATH one would be incredible! XO

So much to love here - fabulous post as always! Adore Julia Robert's mid length waves, they really suit her and the colour is gorgeous. I love waves and actually bought a hair wand but never seem to get them quite right lol. As for the M & S Advent Calendar, looks amazing, I defo want to try out the Clinique 'take the day off' balm, Clinique is a great brand as perfume free for me :)

The Diptyque felt art is so cute, really Christmassy.

Sending love and prayers for your dear Dad and of course you supermama, achieving all of this whilst spinning all the plates in the air xxx 🙏💖🤗

Thank you so much for your 💗🙏 for my dad, Fiona - they mean so much. And I'm so glad you enjoyed the post, and I agree, I love Julia's hair colour and waves (goals, too!). Watch this space for a party-ready hair edition soon, and I'll have a pro share some expert ways with the wands. The Clinique balm is lovely, and unusual being fragrance free as so many are quite aromatic (with essential oils) which is obvs problematic if you are sensitive - 💯. The great thing about the Clinique one is that it's very sheer and non-greasy, but very much a balm - it kind of melts into a light oil on contact with the skin. Let me know what you think if you give it a go. HUGE thanks, again, for you lovely words and support. 🥰

That mini Clinique balm always comes with me when I go away - it’s the only Clinique skin care product I own. Sorry to hear about your dad - it’s so difficult when they start to struggle. I love Julia’s sweatshirt :-)
