The Badedas ‘bubble bath’ smell was my favourite scent - along with old school Coppertone suntan lotion ☺️

I’m on holiday at the moment and it’s alternating between sunny and quite nippy so thoughts of cardis and jumpers are on my mind. Already eyeing my flip flops with teary eyes though 🥹

Thanks for the info on sleep aids - always useful!

I loved reading this post getting us ready for the season ahead 😊

The bubble bath oils takes me back, I love items and fragrances that transports us to a memory from the past (my latest post this week is on Scents of my life, doing just that!). Back then I remember Babedas felt like a particularly posh brand and when old enough bought some for myself once, feeling very indulgent 😅

Oh Miranda, thank you so much, and I love this - yes, it’s amazing how fragrance can be a time travel machine! I must go and read your post if it’s up, that’s one to look forward to for my weekend reading! 🙌Where has the week gone? And yes, I think growing up badass did always seem so luxurious, and that smell is so evocative! 💚🍃

Those oils look divine! Man, I'm such a sucker for pretty packaging too. 😍 My friend Jeannie introduced me to a sleep machine a few years ago and it definitely helps! But now I’m so intrigued by that magnesium spray—definitely need to try it! Right now, my secret weapon for sleep are my Swanwick blue light blocking glasses. I've got a pair for computer use during the day and an amber pair for use at night. If I don't wear the amber ones, I'm up WAY later than I should be. Highly recommend for anyone struggling to fall asleep! As usual, this newsletter is jam-packed with so many useful recommendations!

I missed this for some reason - hence late coming back (gahh!) I feel like I'm getting you to try ALL THE SPRAYS now 😂- from facial mists to sleepy pillow and body sprays! What 'sleep machine' did your friend get you on to (I need all the details!). And oooh the blue light glasses, do you think they make a difference? Wow. And THANK YOU, so much, for your too kind words, you're so lovely! 🥰

You totally ARE!! 🤣 Sprays are so easy and fun. I can’t help it! 😝 The sleep machine from Amazon is a brand called Avantek. Not sure if they sell it anymore - I got it in 2021. But there are sooooo many nowadays that you can probably find an even better one that’s also cute!

Oh thank you so much, I am so on it! I had to laugh last night, looking at my little bedside set up – portable dimmer light, portable fan, portable White Noise machine, 👀 mask, and all those sprays!! I can only apologise for being a bad influence!🤣💕

Oh never apologize for that… 🤣💖

😂 (I’ve only just seen this!) Happy weekend!! XXX

My noise machine is my bedside “meno” fan which keeps me cool while it whirs! Haven’t tried the sprays but have always been curious!

Oohhh that’s GENIUS!! Double-duty!! 🙌 Love that. I have a portable mini fan I keep bedside for that reason, but I love the idea of having a dual-purpose midlife sleep trick! XO (p.s. not sure which brands you can get Stateside, but This Works is fab, but most generic, lavender/chamomile ones seem to do the trick for me! I remember Origins doing one back in the distant day, a sleepy and revive on-the-spot aroma gel which I adored!) 💗

Thank you for the mention, Jenni. ❤️ I’ll be honest and say I had to look up the word you used to describe the amazing white noise machine , “titchy” 😂 That is definitely a British phrase! As you know, insomnia plagues me, so love that you wrote about all the comforts to help enter dream land. I use a silk eye mask, sometimes a spray, lotion, a silk pillowcase, and of course, a white noise machine. 🙂

Oh that’s so funny – I’m going to have to do a titchy follow-up on that! So grateful to you for the recommendation 🙌🤩– it’s a game changer and will be so good for travel. I also have a very similar cordless nightlight which I took to Cornwall recently, because I’m not great at sleeping in total darkness – so I’m all about the comfort gadgets! Thank you so much, again, you know I love your recommendations! 💗🥰xxxxx

My best sleep aid is Mr Jarvis Cockapoo! He farts & snores less than my DH.

Yes! Also love the roller ball versions of those sleep sprays. My hub is a believer too -- he was lights out after about 6 inhales. And weighted eye mask! And at least 3 cats is also helpful. XOXO

The rollerballs, YES!! 🙌 SO good - thank you, I forgot about those!! My husband needs to come around to the idea, lol, although he sticks on his eye mask and he’s out! And weighted eye masks, too - but the CATS!! BEST OF ALL!!! 🐾🐾🐾😽 XOXOX
