This was such a fun read!!! It was so refreshing to hear an expert talk so openly - I love that she wears her hair in a ponytail lol! Great tips for the make up bag, got some ideas there. Thank you for writing this, it was awesome!! Xx

Oh Ashley, I've just seen this, so sorry - not sure how I missed it!! 🥹 100% agree, Bobbi has always been so down to earth and real, and I love her beauty philosophy., and the products reflect that natural, enhance your natural beauty approach- it's not about "anti-ageing" at ALL - at any age. The formulas are sheer, and the finish fresh - my favourite is the WTF Foundation, it's amazing (and reminds me of a formula that was discontinued from her OG range, many years ago). Go, Bobbi!!! And thank you so much, this is such a lovely comment and I'm so sorry I've only just spotted it. 🫠💗XX

Thank you SO much, Natalie, and I can't wait to hear what you think - let me know what you try, I think you'd love the WTF Foundation. It's so fresh, yet somehow the coverage just works, brightening and evening out skin tone, covering dark circles well and it smells lovely, too (subtle, but fresh). I'm so sorry, I'm just catching up, somehow I missed your comment - but do let me know how you get on, and what you try! 🙌 💖 XO

Katie! I’m so glad you enjoyed it, thank you sharing that 💗- Bobbi is wonderful isn’t she? A beauty force! 💯💄 definitely let me know what you think of the neutralizer pencil won’t you? I really love it, and I haven’t tried the face pencil concealer yet, but I really want to. It’s on my Wish List! 🙌🥰

This brand is new to me. I’m so glad you are informing me of all the things. I walked into Sephora the other day and was completely overwhelmed with where to look for good quality products 🙄

Oh Sue, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the posts, and I get the overwhelm. The great thing is that there are so many truly effective, clean and lovely to use products – makeup, skincare– at all price points now, with so many more exciting brands joining the mix.

Stores like Sephora are great for mooching and playing, when you have time, but I think it’s helpful when you’re going in with a specific idea or Wish List in mind – I think I’m going to write something about this, almost like having a Pinterest board of makeup looks you like, skincare needs you want to address. Also, make the most of samples galore – deluxe sample sizes are freely available at stores like Sephora and elsewhere, just ask – it’s not always obvious and sometimes you can get consultants to smidge a sample into a vial to take away – Chanel are really good at this with bases, for example. Clarins are great for samples on skin care as well. Jones Road, I found, to be fabulous on my skin, which has definitely changed in terms of make up and skincare needs since I’ve hit my 50s. What I love about the miracle balm and other products is that I can definitely feel the benefits even at the end of the day, they’re very moisturising and the balms are (natural) oil-based. I know you’re in Canada, I haven’t checked the stockists there – I wonder if there is a store you can try them in? Let me know if you can’t find out, I’ll ask and report back! 💗

I love Bobbi Brown! Have yet to try Jones Road though I've been meaning too. AND ... she's 66??? Wow! I thought she was mid-40s like me.
